When I think of Emily, I think of a light bulb: a true innovator who lights up a room with an infectious passion for making tech work. As counterparts across Tech (Emily) and Product Design (myself), Emily and I spent countless hours collaborating on product design solutions for New Leaders' online learning programming. Like an expert tech sherpa, Emily guided "non-tech" staff and teams through carefully planned processes that made tech easy for collaborators. They focused on end user experience with thoughtful steps to engage many stakeholders through tech requirements, development, and implementation processes that would have otherwise been overwhelming ... always with a sense of user empathy. They are a high-energy, enthusiastic calculated risk taker who is truly passionate about finding solutions that work. Emily never says "that's not possible" but instead finds creative ways to simply make it work! I absolutely loved working with Emily as a trusted partner and fellow creative risk-taker -- and highly recommend them for any tech partnering needs.
